Hey! I'm Bekah. When I started coding, I was all about Atom. And then I gave VSCode a try and haven't gone back. I appreciate all the work it does for me.
Fun fact about me: My favorite constellation is Orion.
Woohoo! Glad to have you here Bekah!
Hey, I'm here because vscode is my editor of choice; it has great extensions for my two favourite languages, Elm and F#. Also, any space NickyT is in is going to have lots of opportunities for learning and good vibes.

Hi folks, my name is Daryl and I've been programming in VScode since a teacher showed me in a Python course a few years ago. Now, I use VScode almost every day, mostly to program my Python applications. I believe I found this site via the Twitter account.
I honestly believe my programming has increased since I've been using VScode because it introduced me to debugging. Real debugging I mean, not just putting
print
statements everywhere. VScode is really lifting me up to higher quality code. Thanks for sharing and welcome to VSCodeTips! π

Hi there! I came via the "Textmate > Sublime Text > Atom" roadtrip, and have never looked back. One day, I'll port my Sublime / Atom themes & extensions to VS Code, I promise π!
Here are some of them:
Great to have you here Philip! π
Hi folks! I'm Lucia, and I currently use a lot of GraphQL and TS, as well as a little Golang. I livestream from time to time so tips centered around that, as well as formatting/prettier etc, are super interesting to me.
I'm also interested in learning more about grokking folder structure as represented in VSCode.
Let's go!
Hi cool folks!
A site all about VS Code, I cannot miss this one. I really like to use VS Code on a daily basis for anything related to coding, writing my blogs, and more.
I also like to develop extensions for VS Code like frontmatter.codes / The unnamed theme / TypeScript Barrel Generator. These are just a couple of the extensions I've created over the years.
Happy to discover how the rest of the VS Code community uses it.
Welcome to VSCodeTips!

Hello π
VSCode daily user here. Use it for Angular and Rails environments lately. Also markdown folder notes and Github wikis, remote containers with WSL, Powershell, and some LaTeX. ~80 extensions installed. Installed once for a C++ project demo.
Love the git support, incredible how poor support for stage changes (including partials) are out there and how neat is solved in VSCode.
Welcome to VSCodeTips Nils!
Hey all! Iβm Casey, a Frontend Engineer and Game Developer hobbyist who uses VSCode exclusively.
Fun fact: I started programming roughly 13 years ago by creating a RuneScape private server
Nice! Welcome to the community Casey! π
Hello! I'm mostly on Webstorm and Intellji but I'm curious about tools on VSCode
Hi everyone, I'm a VS Code user. I have been programming for about 4 years. I mainly build websites for fun as a hobby, but I also maintain a website for the family business and also for a small organization for which I volunteer. I started my coding journey with WordPress, but nowadays I focus on the Jamstack architecture. Nice to connect with you all! π€

Hello VSCodeTips! Im here because I love open source software and VSCode is the editor im most comfortable with.
Im curious about blockchain tech and smart contracts so recently I started playing around with Solidity via Buildspace. Im also exploring Adalo, looking to build a mobile app specifically focused on hip-hop videos.
Recently I launched 1VIBE which is a community for passionate hip-hop fans, built with Forem. A lot of the work I do with 1VIBE involves curation, so im also intersted in RSS, topic modeling NLP algorithms, SEO, content publishing, and social networks.
